This guide walks you through how to connect your TikTok Business account to SleekFlow. Once connected, your team can reply to TikTok direct messages and leads directly in the omnichannel Inbox.
⚠️ Important eligibility note
TikTok Business Messaging is not supported for Business Accounts located in the UK, EU, Switzerland, or the US.
- Even if the connection is successful in SleekFlow, accounts from these regions cannot send or receive messages.
- TikTok only natively supports messaging for certain regions, and SleekFlow cannot provide service for accounts in the above regions.
To use TikTok Business Messaging with SleekFlow, you’ll need a registered TikTok Business Account from another supported region.
Before you begin
Before connecting TikTok Business Messaging to SleekFlow, make sure you meet the following requirements:
- You have a TikTok Business Account. Personal accounts are not supported.
- Your TikTok account is configured to receive direct messages from TikTok users.
- You have permission to manage channels in SleekFlow.
- You can grant the required TikTok permissions during the connection process.
Check your TikTok direct message settings
To receive TikTok conversations in SleekFlow, your TikTok account must be able to receive direct messages from other TikTok users.
To review your direct message settings:
- Open the TikTok app.
- Go to “Profile”.
- Tap the Menu icon, then select “Settings and privacy”.
- Go to “Privacy” > “Direct messages”.
- Review your direct message settings.
If the “Everyone” option is available, select it so new direct messages can be received without requiring manual approval.
The available direct message settings may vary depending on your TikTok account type, region, or TikTok’s latest app experience. Some accounts may see different options instead of “Everyone”, such as “Requests”.
If “Everyone” is not available, select the option that allows your account to receive direct messages. Depending on your TikTok settings, new conversations may first appear as message requests and require manual acceptance in the TikTok app before they become available in SleekFlow.
Step-by-step guide
Once you have prepared the above items, you can follow the steps below to connect your TikTok Business Messaging channel to SleekFlow
- Click on the
icon in the left navigation bar to go to the “Channel” page - Click on “TikTok Business Messaging” on the left-sided menu

- Click the “Connect” button at the top right corner
- You will be redirected to the “Connect TikTok Business Messaging” page
- Once you have reviewed the connection requirement in the page, click “Continue on TikTok”
- You will be redirected to TikTok to continue with granting the necessary permissions. Follow the instruction on the screen to sign in with the account you want to connect
- After signing in to your TikTok for Business account, you will be prompted to grant permissions to authorize the connection, including:
- Message access
- Profile info
- Comment and post management
- Video analytics
- Make sure you have toggled on all permission in this page
- Click “Continue”
Once it’s successfully connected, you will be redirected back to the “TikTok Business Messaging channel dashboard”, a success message will appear at the left bottom of the screen.
